Strong material that can withstand impacts because my 2yo is always on the go and sometimes he forgets he has something in his hands. The magnets on the unit and letters are strong enough to where I'm not afraid of it falling off of the fridge, but not too strong where my son struggles to get the device off. Easy operation and the design of the pieces to only fit 1 way helps teach him how to properly put things in (like those balls with the different shapes).Volume is a good level and colors draw attention to it when he's looking for something to do.I bought the first version of the Leapfrog refrigerator magnets over 13 years ago for my grand children. One of the original ones still work. I now have more little grandchildren and they fight over the one that still works. So I bought this one for my house and bought the new red version that has more than just the letters for my daughter and son in law. Both of them are great!! I home school my kiddos and phonics have been proven to help kids with the extended reading. I really wish they would have had these and the other leapfrog products to teach my kids when they were little. I heartily recommend this product if you have a refrigerator to hold all the magnets. Plus, this newer version plays other music than just the ABC song. My two year old and Four year old love it!Idk who loves this more me or my kids. Keeps them busy while I wash dishes & keeps them entertained. I’ve purchased this to gift as well.I LOVE this toy & my 11 month old daughter does too. It keeps her busy & happy while I’m working in the kitchen. She loves to play with the magnets & push the buttons. Getting the letters into the bus is hit & miss but she’ll get better as she grows! Plus, the learning letters & sounds will be more relevant to her when she’s a bit older. Great toy to learn & grow into.Had these for my other kids when they were little. Just bought this again for the youngest. This product always delivers! It’s easy for kids to use and durable! It’s great for teach them their lettersMy 16 month old loves this thing he uses it at a friends so I ended up buying one he will spend over 15 minutes at a time just playing so money is well worth itAn ideal toy to place on the fridge, keep’s little ones entertained whilst parents are doing chores in the kitchen. Great for hand and eye coordination but also starts little ones on the road for learning. Great value for money and very sturdy, my 1st grandson still has his 5years later, I’ve since purchased another one for our little grandson, I know he’ll love it.Grandson enjoys putting the letters in and taking them out. Too young yet to learn any letters but it has quite a nice sound to it and he tries to repeat some of the sounds. I have only put out a few letters so far and I didn't want to confuse him. I would have preferred it if the pronunciation of the letters was the other way round for example the letter 't' it pronounces tee, tee and then tuh whereas I think he will learn the tuh sound first in words like top, tub, tin etc but just my opinion also grandson tired of only 2 songs and keeps on pressing the button expecting a different song every time I suppose a more expensive one would have more. Overall a good quality learning aidI bought this as my youngest (sixteen months) was obsessed with it at a friend’s house recently. However; the novelty has worn off very quickly for her and she simply pulls it off the fridge and chucks it on the floor.She may come back to this when she’s a little older and I do like the premise of the product.This was recommended to us by our daughters pre-school.The pronunciation of the letters matches that of what they are taught in school so echos their learning at home too.The magnets in the bus and letters are strong so they don't slide off the fridge and there is a two stage volume control on there which is good.Overall my 3 year old loves this and we feel it has helped her immensely with her letter recognition.Great product to teach phonics and it's in English woohooooo! I was so tired of searching for nursery rhymes and toys that teach "zed" for Z rather than "zee" so I was over the moon when this pronounced it perfectly. I work in the early years where we use reading, writing inc to teach reading using phonics and this has helped my 3 year old within a week of buying it
